If you are interested in renting a float cabin for a weekend, a week, or longer on Powell Lake, please complete this questionnaire for further information. Powell River Books is an agent for the renter of a fully-furnished float cabin on Powell Lake. The quality of this rental cabin is outstanding, and rates are reasonable.



This cabin is a in picturesque location on Powell Lake and requires boat access. However, boat transportation can also be arranged or boat rentals are available at the Shinglemill marina. Cabins include wood-burning stove (wood is supplied), propane burning lamps, refrigerator, and stove. A fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with dishes, pans, and eating utensils. Water is supplied from the lake via a hand-pump (bring your own drinking water). Access to land and an outhouse is via a small bridge. There is no electricity or telephone access (some cell phones have intermittent success). This float cabin has a loft equipped with several beds (bring your own linen) and can easily accommodate up to six people.

This cabin is currently undergoing renovation, and is not available for rental. Check back later for future rental information. Cabin renovations are expected to be complete by Summer 2011.
